Greendown Trust work within the care home and nursing sector since it was originally founded in 1971, which has helped thousands of residents receive the highest-quality care and accommodation across the country.
They first approached us concerning their AidCall nurse calls systems within the residents’ accommodation. Within the residents’ homes, the AidCall nurse calling system could not be heard from the en suite.
To solve this issue we provided several options for them to choose from with demonstration of the products suggested.
Once a decision was made on the best solution to the issue, we contacted a new manufacturer to provide the new system. Because this system was new to us we allocated time and resources for our engineers to become familiar with the new system before installation. Along side this we ordered extra parts ready in case any future call outs were made.
Due to it being a new system provided by a manufacturer we had not dealt with prior to this, there were some teething problems. We worked extremely hard to resolve these problems as quickly as possible to minimise the impact on the nursing home and its residents.
Here at RDS Global we offer a 24/7 engineer service 365 days a year. This was extremely important to our client due to the sector they worked in. without this service, the resident inhabiting the room would have to be moved to a new room which would only cause more stress for the resident. Being able to solve the problem quickly gives the nurses and the residents’ piece of mind.
